Koda Colorado LLC, doing business as Koda CrossFit Iron View ("Koda," "we," or "us"), runs the gym at 740 S Pierce Ave Ste 5, Louisville, CO 80027 and this website. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- What you send us. Your name, email address, phone number, experience level, and anything else you include when you fill out a form on this site, sign up for our newsletter, or contact us by email, phone, or text.
- Gym sign-ups. The details you give us on your waiver or when you book a class or join, such as your contact information and any injuries or goals you tell us about.
- Coach text alerts. Koda coaches who opt in to text alerts give us their name, email address, and mobile number, along with their consent to receive those texts.
- Website activity. Information collected through cookies and similar technologies, described below.
How we use information
- To answer your questions and schedule your classes.
- To let your coach know you're coming and share what will help them coach you, such as your experience, injuries, and goals.
- To run memberships and send updates about your classes or account.
- To send our newsletter if you sign up for it. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To send coach text alerts to coaches who have opted in.
- To understand how people use our website and to improve our marketing.
Text messages and mobile information
We use mobile numbers collected for text alerts only to send those alerts. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile numbers or text message opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We share them only with the messaging provider that delivers our texts (currently Twilio), and only so it can deliver them.
Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. The full text program terms are in our Terms of Service.
Who we share information with
We do not sell your name, email address, or phone number. We share information only:
- With our coaches and staff, when they need it to do their jobs.
- With service providers that help us run the gym, such as our website host, email and document tools (Google), text message provider (Twilio), member management software, and an AI assistant (Anthropic's Claude) that helps summarize new-athlete inquiries for coaches. They may use the information only to provide those services to us.
- With advertising platforms through the cookies and tracking technologies described below.
- When the law requires it, or when needed to protect the safety of our members, staff, or business.
Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies on our website, including the Facebook (Meta) Pixel, to understand how users interact with our content and to improve our marketing efforts. These tools may collect information such as your IP address, device type, and browsing behavior.
This information may be used to deliver personalized ads on platforms like Facebook and Instagram. You can opt out of data collection by adjusting your browser settings or visiting https://optout.aboutads.info.
How long we keep information, and how we protect it
We keep information for as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires. We use reasonable safeguards to protect it, but no system is completely secure.
Your choices
To see, correct, or delete the information we have about you, email kodaironview@gmail.com. We may need to keep some records, such as signed waivers, where the law or our legitimate business needs require it.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13. A parent or guardian must sign for any athlete under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here and update the effective date.
